Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28, 1967) was an American performer and actress. Wuhrer began her career as an teen and is most well recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a auto salesman.
