Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist film maker, documentary journalist and TV host. Angela Sun, a journalist and sportscaster, who has received awards for her efforts on Santa Clara County California was born October 19, 1979. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Communications at the University of California. Sun was a pro surfer and took part in many pro-am surf competitions. That led her to receive sponsorship from major companies like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans, among others. The fame that she earned from the events she took part in that propelled Sun into the world of entertainment. Sun, in the future, went on to become an actress, sportscaster filmmaker and investigative journalist. Sun has worked as a reporter on several news outlets, but mostly as an anchor. In 2003 Sun was a Fox Sports Net Correspondent. She was host of American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. Sun is the first Asian American person to be featured in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is a regular in a number of films and has received fame and praise for her acting prowess. She's appeared in films such as Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). In 2014, Sun launched Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch a film of a feature length about the plastic pollution in the oceans and the impact it has on the ecosystem. Sun wrote, she directed and wrote.
