Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Her father is Nigerian and Swiss, while her mother is English. She grew on an estate in south London council estate and at the age of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was obtained. While at school she appeared in several stage productions, like the King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started in the series Storm Damage. Since then Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe scored her first motion-picture role in the Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Following that she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the role of Bambi on the ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the series two and three. Madekwe starred as the lead character for How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy released in 2008. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe debuted in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama program ran in the US on The CW for only two episodes, but it was removed from the air. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. In May of 2013, it was announced that Madekwe who had appeared on the show as a series regular for the two previous seasons, was to leave the series with a guest appearance on the premier episode of the season's new episode. She played Tituba in the TV show Salem in 2014 until 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. Together, they worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was raised in a big family living in Hamilton, Ontario. The four brothers she had were also present and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. All of her brothers were athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey throughout the summer and winter. Her childhood was spent in stadiums and played baseball. Ashley could never walk but she was able to dance. As she was two and a half, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley became a dancer from that moment. Ashley continued to compete until her high-school graduation at the top levels of competitions, such as ballet, tap, Jazz and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and many more. All of the big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the title "top individualist".
